After running monthly on a Sunday for almost 3 years at the Healthy Life Centre, with effect from 21st February 2013 we moved to our new home at the Eric Liddell Centre and have been running a weekly Thursday morning Laughter Club there, raising money for the Ca(i)re Programme every week since then. A huge thank you to all our members for making this club a massive success and for raising an astounding average of £1,500 per year!!!
Since April 2014, Carers are able to attend for free* thanks to Scottish Government CIS funding.
* Registration in the “Carers’ Laughter club project is required to be eligible for a free place.
Donations from laughter club members has seen us raise over £6,100 for the Ca(i)re Programme (from February 2013 to February 2017); an average of £1,500 a year – AMAZING!!!!! We DO GOOD and we FEEL GOOD!
We meet weekly on Thursdays mornings at The Eric Liddell Centre, 15 Morningside Road, Edinburgh in the South Wing (Ground Floor – fully accessible – although there may sometimes be last minute room changes die to other bookings but there is a lift) from 11am – 12pm.
